8.00 (good) | My second favorite anime after Gintama. I loved Bleach enough to survive the filler episodes.

For me it's just ok. Maybe it would be better if the episodes are longer so that the characters' stories can
be told more in detail. | ||

9.75 (excellent) | Another nonsensical, funny and entertaining anime. I have watched up to episode 7 and so far am enjoying myself.

10.00 (excellent) | For me this is the best anime ever. It is hilarious and yet can be action-packed and touching at times. The only anime where every character is not an 'extra', every one of them has a 'presence' (yes, even Shinpachi) that make them distinct and enjoyable. A nice anime to watch when I'm rewinding after a stressful day. Yorozuya Gin-chan is the best!

7.25 (above average) | A funny anime although sometimes it can be a bit slow-paced. Zange & Co. saves this anime for me. Overall, I enjoyed it.

5.75 (average) | A bit disappointed with the anime adaptation. I did finish the first season (with difficulty) but did not survive the second one. Somehow the anime is just ordinary and did not really hold my interest like the manga did.

9.75 (excellent) | This anime makes me think of life and how to best cope and enjoy it. A touching and warm anime. Nyanko-sensei is just too annoyingly adorable. I've watched and enjoyed all 4 installments.

9.75 (excellent) | This anime is my 2012's unexpected nice surprise. The animation is great, Akira Amano's character design is superb and I especially love the irony of Makishima Shogo's choice weapon - an old fashioned shaving knife (despite the futuristic setting when even guns are an antiquity). I also like it that by episode 17, I sort of started to understand Makishima's reasons although I've been hating his guts right off the bat (but I still think he's evil). And yes, I would watch the sequel if they ever decided to make one. |
